Copyright infringement notice

APKzona respects intellectual property rights and aims to respond promptly to valid complaints. We are an Android software catalog of listings, descriptions, and metadata. We do not claim ownership of third-party works and do not present ourselves as the rights holder of apps listed on the site.

What we are and are not

We publish app cards, versions, hashes, descriptions, and download links. Some materials may be hosted on our infrastructure; others may point to external mirrors. We are not the official store of any app publisher, we do not replace Google Play, and we do not grant licenses to use third-party software.

If your copyrighted work appears on APKzona without authorization, follow the procedure below.

How to file a notice

If you are a rights holder or authorized agent and believe content on this site infringes your rights, email [email protected] with the subject “DMCA / Copyright”.

Please include:

1. Your full name and contact details (email, phone if available).

2. Description of the copyrighted work (app name, package name, registration or public reference).

3. Exact URL(s) on APKzona where the allegedly infringing material appears.

4. A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the owner, its agent, or the law.

5. A statement under penalty of perjury that the information is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner.

6. Your physical or electronic signature (typed full name is acceptable).

Notices without URLs, without proof of authority, or demanding removal of “everything similar” without a link list are delayed or rejected as incomplete. List each disputed URL clearly.

Response timeline

We aim to acknowledge a complete notice within 2 business days. Where the complaint is substantiated and identifies the material clearly, we typically remove or restrict access within 5 business days after acknowledgement.

Complex cases (multiple mirrors, disputed authority, large URL lists) may take longer; we will note this in our reply.

What we do after a notice

Upon receiving a complete notice we will:

1. Log the request and send an acknowledgement to the provided email.

2. Check that the material matches the stated URLs and description.

3. If the complaint is substantiated, remove or restrict access to the disputed content (page, version, file, or link).

4. Where appropriate, notify the uploading user of the takedown.

We may reject incomplete, duplicate, or clearly frivolous notices.

Counter-notice

If your listing was removed in error, or you believe the complaint was unfounded, send a counter-notice to [email protected] with the subject “DMCA Counter-Notice”.

Include:

1. Your name and contact details.

2. Description of the removed material and its original URL.

3. A good-faith statement that the material was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification.

4. Consent to dispute resolution in an applicable jurisdiction, within reasonable limits for an online catalog.

5. Your electronic signature (full name).

We typically review counter-notices within 5–10 business days. Restoration may follow after review and consideration of the rights holder’s position. We are not obliged to restore material when there are reasonable grounds to treat the infringement as confirmed.

Repeat infringer policy

Users who repeatedly upload or distribute material subject to valid rights-holder complaints may face restrictions: warnings, temporary upload blocks, unpublishing of listings, or account termination. Moderation decides based on severity and frequency.

False or abusive notices

Knowingly false notices, mass template complaints without URLs, and attempts to censor lawful third-party content may be rejected. Abuse of the DMCA process may result in refusal to process similar incomplete requests.

Copyright agent contact

Send all copyright and DMCA correspondence to [email protected]. This is the primary channel for notices and counter-notices. Do not use public app comments for legal complaints — they do not replace a formal notice.
